OK, it says "Click here" on the graphic. But I couldn't figure out how to add the link to that button. So click here instead and you can save $3 on admission to the Indianapolis Christmas Gift + Hobby Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. Go to the website for all the details,... Helping celebrate a birthday
Kimberly S. Hoffman and I conducted a book signing to help Wild Geese Bookshop celebrate its second birthday on Saturday, Nov. 3. There were cupcakes, balloons, a food truck and lots of books. We enjoyed it immensely. The event coincided with the Downtown Franklin Holiday Open House. So there were people everywhere ... I mean everywhere!
Today, today, today. Be there!
All this at today's (Saturday, Oct. 20) Greenwood Public Library Authors Fair, Greenwood, IN. 1-3 p.m.: Interested in writing? Visit with one of the local writing groups. Interested in finding unique, local gifts? Get a head start on your holiday shopping by supporting local authors. I will be there with both of my books: "Wicked Columbus,... Continue Reading →
O, Brother Brother, Where Art Thou Podcast?
Want to find out what it's like to have two published authors in the house? Want to know how our minds work? How we craft our stories? Where our ideas come from? What's up next? Or are you just bored and have nothing to do for the next however many minutes? Then, you'll so definitely... Continue Reading →
Podcasts aplenty
The headline says "aplenty." Maybe two isn't really "aplenty," but considering the podcast interviews I did came less than two weeks apart, and I'd only done one prior to that, I think "aplenty" works just fine. My wife, Kimberly S. Hoffman, and I were interviewed by Johnny Lyles and David Banks for Brother Brother Beer... Continue Reading →
Upcoming author appearances
My wife, fellow author Kimberly S. Hoffman, and I have booked several author appearances. The following cover central and south central Indiana (from Indianapolis to Columbus) as well as Louisville, Kentucky. Who knows what we'll be adding to this list? I certainly don't. Kimberly has two children's books published thus far and is working on... Continue Reading →

Hoffman) and I did a podcast interview together in Indianapolis recently. Two authors, four published books, one household. *I am scheduled to do an... Continue Reading →
Husband/wife book signing
My wife and I conducted a book signing at Half Price Books in Greenwood, Indiana, in October 2017. Our friend and photographer, Don Meyer, supplied the photos.
A bevy of Wisconsin writers
I had a blast at the Meet the Author event at the Brookfield (Wis.) Public Library on Saturday, October 28. The event was a fundraiser for the Friends of the Brookfield Public Library. I got to meet up with former fellow co-workers in the journalism business who have gotten into the author thing, too. I... Continue Reading →
The creativity is pulsing through our veins lately
My wife and I are in the midst of a spell of creativity, not just producing our own, but also interacting with multiple creative communities, too. In addition to the two nonfiction books I have out - "Murder in Wauwatosa" and "Wicked Columbus, Indiana," I'm also in the beginning stages of helping a nearby theater... Continue Reading →
