One of the author events that my wife and I were scheduled to go to but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic was one at a library not far from us. The authors fair at the Clark-Pleasant Branch of the Johnson County (Ind.) Public Library was to feature several area authors on March 21.
While the event was postponed until fall, Ryan Trares of the Daily Journal was kind enough to write a feature on eight of the authors who were to attend. What a great way to promote the arts, specifically authors, and get people reading during these times.
The story published today (March 27). You can see it in its entirety here. Go to Pages 6-7. I’m not sure how long that link will work, as it’s usually behind a pay wall. But, the paper has been free online for a few days due to coronavirus coverage, so there you go.
Below are the parts of the feature dealing with me and my wife, Kimberly Hoffman, as well as a view of the whole thing at the very bottom.
