Talking children’s book publishing

A few weeks ago, I talked publishing children’s book with fellow author Michael John Sullivan and and Magic Everywhere Inc. guru Michael John Sullivan. We chatted about all kinds of things when it comes to publishing children’s books, including what I look for in trying to determine whether I’m going to publish something.

Check out the podcast here.

Michael has been a friend for a long time. I got to know him when I was writing my first book, and he helped guide me through that process. Part of that was introducing me to Heather Hummel, who helped me negotiate my first contract as an author almost 10 years ago and who sold me PathBinder Publishing last May.

Children’s book is one of the most important tools in every child’s developmental process. It will teach them many life lessons, in which they can carry out all their lives.
